Because of this, he knows Kira’s birth father is the leader of the troupe who gave the order to massacre the Kurta clan. This news devastates Kira and sends her spiraling down a dark path, because she doesn’t think Kurapika will forgive her. Kira feels responsible for the deaths of her people, so she uses her Nen to crate a clone. The clone tortures Kira, breaking her body in such a way she won’t be able to quickly recover, delving her the pain she thinks she deserves. The clone then takes her place amongst the Phantom Troupe, standing with her father. Feeling Kira’s self loathing, the clone is in a frenzy, killing innocent people by her father’s side.
