Apparently what Edward did in the Kobayashi Maru or no win situation simulator caught the attention of Star fleet command elite. He used the simulated ship to defeat the enemy ships and rescue the damaged vessel that sent the distress signal making an extraction from enemy space. Edward hacked the simulator’s security that involved preventing future reprogramming. Instead of just making it possible to save the ship he also increased the difficulty of the simulation to 10 times harder than that of the standard program. He received a medal for innovation, resourcefulness and the best strategy in the simulator’s history. Part 3 A starfleet representative took Edward for a short ride on a galaxy class starship. In all that time Edward Was asking questions about how big the ship is and how fast. After that he was only a shuttlecraft ride away from the federation’s thought to be best kept secret….Starbase Zero.
