Final Space: Battle for the universe serves as a sequel series for Final Space, a series that was cancelled in a dark cliffhanger at the end of the third season. It was three months since Invictus escaped Final Space, and Gary and the Team Squad are looking for new Allie’s to help them in a fight against Invictus and its undead army of Gary’s. New Allie’s they meet: Dawn Cavender (a young human scavenger who seeks to save her younger brother Kale after the death of their mother Elsie), Valen (a Thrynarian Warrior), Verity Aphelion (an optimistic telekinetic young Cerubian girl), and Tessa (Gary’s older half sister). As the adventure progresses and they reunite with Ash, who shows remorse for her actions in betraying the crew, Gary discovers that Dawn and Kale are his children.
